Have you tried replugging your sata cables from both sides - thats data AND power. Sorry about this, really not sure why this has happened and no idea if it is related to HWIDGEN. Should I just select "download" in CCMaker? Or is there another version? I am using CCMaker version 1.3.6, and launching it from an external drive which isn't scanned by my AV software. Unfortunately, I cannot recall how I did this before, but I don't think everything was installed all at one time(?). I re-read through the steps, but cannot figure out what is wrong. ~~For whatever reason though, CCMaker proceeds to install everything on C: and not on D: In fact, I am not asked to repeat any steps as your thread describes. The Adobe applications didn't survive the reinstall, so I am basically trying to do the same thing I did in early January, however when I "download and install" using CCMaker, I select the installation directory as D:/Program Files/Adobe), but am only given this option once despite selecting four (4) applications.
I recently bought a faster C: drive which required reinstalling windows. I originally followed instructions from this sub 3 months ago to install Adobe applications on my D: drive (like so many laptops/desktops these days, I have an SSD boot drive (C:) and a main HDD drive (D:)).
thank you for all of your tireless work!!!! You are a hero! I am sure you do not get enough appreciation from the many people who benefit from the use of your guides. In the end, the aim is for one clean link with all the knowledge, instructions and links I can just paste to someone asking about it. Of course only a minority would go out of their way to obtain copies of this, but honeslty if I need something and it seems hard or has some bits of knowledge I'll just write a guide, it's easy for me to refer to as well (I use the download links a lot here!) And share will friends.
The reason there is even a guide is because I make them so stuff is easily accessible. It's one of those things I can't really word but is certainly important in gameplay (e.g. Also, as an avid CS player myself when you get to grips of CS it's mostly the same across different games (1.6, S, GO) and it's really fun to try different variations / old games of it with completely different feelings. There are reasons people like the CSGO beta (nostalgia, it being wildly different).
There are massive groups obsessed with valve beta software, be it HL, CS, TF, anything at all, and it'd be surprising to the average player I guess. It's definitely not better, but very very different.
